Help blind people to find their way!

Any person needs independence and mobility. Being blind or visual impaired makes no difference. In essence:
  • One should feel safe in any place
  • One must have the certainty of moving into the right direction in a safe manner
  • One should be aware in time of nearby obstacles in the route
  • A person should know their location

The technologies that the I-Cane system requires are everywhere in our daily surroundings, so why is a cane like this not yet obtainable?

Ria Kromjong, night-blind and tubular vision:
"The I-Cane could help me to participate more in society and thus give me more freedom".
